Hi, I use Xiphos to read the Bible on linux.
In Linux Mint you find it and can install it from the Packet manager aka Synaptic.
On Ubuntu based macine, you have to first add a PPA
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages
from this untrusted PPA by adding
ppa:pkgcrosswire/ppa to your system's Software
Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pkgcrosswire/ppa
sudo apt-get update
More on https://launchpad.net/~pkgcrosswire/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
The Bible modules (different versions and language translations) you can download
from https://xiphos.org/links/
Xiphos versions for Windows and other platforms can be downloaded from there also
Once you have installed Xiphos you can download more Bible modules using the program.
